How to use parametric search?

  • To hide the row with filtering options, click on the grey bar with arrows below the options.
  • To add or remove columns with parameters click on the Add/Remove parameters button on the top right. You can check the columns you want to see.
  • You can change the order of the columns by dragging and dropping the columns to the desired position.
  • You can download the results of your (filtered) selection to Excel by clicking the Download Excel button.

What is a RET?

A RET is a Resistor Equipped Transistor. RETs combine the bias resistor and bias-emitter resistor in the same package as the transistor. Double RETs are devices that combine two transistors and two matching bias resistors and bias-emitter resistors.

Is the Nexperia RET portfolio AEC-Q101 qualified?

Which input voltage is necessary for switching the RET on and off?

A voltage swing of approx. 1.2 V is sufficient for switching the RET. Therefore, RETs can be easily driven directly by a micro controller. 

What is the resistor ratio (R1/R2) tolerance of the RETs?

Nexperia RETs have a state-of-the-art ratio tolerance of down to +-10% (PBR)
 

Why is Nexperia offering 80 V RETs?

Nexperia is offering 80 V RETs that provide enough headroom for use in 48 V automotive board net (e.g. mild hybrid and EV cars) and other higher voltage circuits which are often subject to large spikes and pulses that previous 50 V parts cannot handle. The new series (NHDTx and NHUMx) includes 42 parts with PNP / NPN combinations. These come with the same bias resistor combinations as Nexperia’s 50 V parts. Devices have a 100 mA current capability and are AEC-Q101-approved.
