NEVB-NXU0304-204UL + Fixed-Direction 4-bit voltage translation evaluation boards
The NEVB-NXU0304-0204UL evaluation board is designed to assess the performance and operational characteristics of Nexperia’s NXU0304, NXU0204, and NXU0104 voltage translators.
The board facilitates the evaluation of these devices within a typical system environment by incorporating series resistors and parallel loads on each input/output line. The Output Enable (OE) function can be configured via a jumper, allowing it to be pulled up to either the VCCA or VCCB supply rail. In addition, each input is equipped with a Schmitt trigger to accommodate slow-rising or noisy input signals. A weak 6.5 MΩ pull-down resistor is also included on each input to prevent floating input conditions.

- VCCA: 0.9 V to 5.5
- VCCB: 0.9 V to 5.5 V
- Low power consumption for supply voltage range 1.1 V to 5.5 V
- 3 µA (Tamb = 25 °C)
- 5 µA (Tamb = -40 °C to +125 °C)
- Schmitt-trigger inputs with integrated static high ohmic pull-down resistor on the input
- Maximum data rate:
- 250 Mbps (≥ 1.8 V to 5 V translation)
- Output enable (OE) allows connection to VCCA or VCCB domain
- Suspend mode when either one of the supply voltages is below 100 mV or disconnected (floating)
- Low noise overshoot and undershoot <10% of VCCO
- IOFF circuitry provides partial power-down mode operation
