Applications
Shift registers are used in I/O expansion applications allowing the use of lower pin-count (and cost) controllers.
Shift register products are available in standard SO, TSSOP and innovative leadless DQFN packages for PCB space saving. Nexperia's automotive shift register products are fully specified from -40 ºC to 125 ºC.
