Interim CEO

Stefan is Nexperia’s acting interim CEO as of October 2025, stepping up from his previous role as CFO. In this position, he is responsible for guiding the company’s strategic direction, ensuring operational continuity, and leading the executive team through a period of transition. His appointment reflects his proven leadership qualities and extensive knowledge of the company.

In his prior role as CFO, Stefan led the teams responsible for ensuring Nexperia’s financial and administrative strength. He began his career at NXP, where he built deep expertise across a variety of financial roles before transitioning with Nexperia in 2017 as VP Global Business Controlling and joining the leadership team. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Schleswig-Holstein Cooperative University of Applied Sciences in Kiel, Germany.

Achim Kempe - Chief Operations Officer (COO)

Achim is responsible for all global operations and is overseeing business and manufacturing at our five factory sites. He has a strong manufacturing and operational background, implementing high-impact manufacturing strategies and operational excellence initiatives. Achim brings a passion for efficiency and more than 20 years' experience to the role. Achim holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Applied Sc. of Cologne and the University of Siegen.

Ruben Lichtenberg - Chief Legal Officer

Ruben is Nexperia’s Chief Legal Officer, leading the Global legal and IP team. Ruben started his career as an attorney and he brings  more than 20 years of experience in international corporate law, having worked in senior legal functions for a range of international companies such as  Royal Haskoning, Mercuria Energy and Vesta Terminals. Ruben is also Board Secretary and holds a Master’s in Law from the Radboud University of Nijmegen. 

Andrea Tranchida - Chief Commercial Officer

Andrea is Nexperia’s Chief Commercial Officer, responsible for driving Nexperia’s top line and demand creation. Andrea accounts over 25 years of experience in sales, marketing and business development. Before joining Nexperia, Andrea worked at STMicroelectronics in various leadership roles, mostly related to Power and WBG Devices. He holds a BSc in Communication Technologies from University of Ferrara and an MBA from Baylor University, TX.

Philipp Obier - BG Leader Bipolar Discretes

Philipp is Nexperia's BG Leader for Bipolar Discretes. Philipp joined NXP in 2014 as Product Marketing Manager for Standard Products. In the last 10 years he has led various teams and projects in Marketing, Commercial  and Supply Chain Management. Up until 2024, Philipp was leading the Product Group Small Signal Discretes, which reached new heights in revenues and market share in the last years. Philipp holds a BA in Business and Marketing from the Leuphana University of Lüneburg in Germany.

Fredrik Öberg - BG Leader MOS Discretes

Fredrik is Nexperia's BG Leader for MOS Discretes. With more than 20 years of experience in semiconductors and related industries he brings a wealth of knowledge from leading global organisations. Before joining Nexperia he held various leadership roles in marketing and general management in Infineon's Automotive Division. Fredrik holds an MScEE from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg and an MBA from the University College Dublin.

Edoardo Merli - BG Leader Wide Band Gap, IGBT & Modules

Edoardo Merli is Nexperia’s BG Leader for Wide Band Gap, IGBT & Modules. He is a highly accomplished executive with 30+ years in high-tech and automotive industries. He brings a solid experience on semiconductors, both in automotive and industrial/consumer domains. Before joining Nexperia, he was Executive VP and GM of Power Transistor SubGroup in STMicroelectronics. His previous assignments included automotive processors and infotainment, communications, RF and -the latest one- Power Technologies. Edoardo holds a BA in Engineering (B. Eng.), Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from University of Bologna in Italy.

Thomas Lewis - BG Leader IC Solutions

Thomas is Nexperia's BG Leader for IC Solutions. He brings with him extensive expertise in power and signal chain analog ICs. Thomas was a founding member of Texas Instruments’ commercial pricing function (standard linear and logic) and led their Power over Ethernet (PoE) R&D team. He last worked at Analog Devices (ADI) as Integrated Marketing Director, including their Automotive and Cloud Infrastructure businesses. Thomas holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and an undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh.

Ole Gerkensmeyer - Chief of Strategy

Ole is Nexperia’s Chief Strategy Officer, leading the company’s strategic direction and long‑term growth agenda. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with a strong background in strategy, business development, and sales leadership. Ole began his career at Texas Instruments, where he spent 17 years in roles spanning semiconductor design, marketing, field applications, and sales management. He later served as General Manager for Future Electronics’ Central European distribution business and held senior leadership positions at Wolfspeed, overseeing the EMEA Automotive business and driving corporate business development initiatives.

Ole holds a master's degree in communication engineering from Leibniz University Hannover, Germany. He also contributes to the wider industry as an advisory board member for PCIM and as a committee member for the electronica Automotive Conference.

Andre Schulte-Bisping - Interim CFO

Andre is Nexperia’s Interim CFO, leading the teams responsible for the company’s financial performance and organizational stability. With more than 20 years of experience in multinational finance roles, he brings deep expertise in finance & controlling, business development and building high‑performing teams. Before stepping into the Interim CFO role, Andre served as Vice President Business Controlling and Managing Director at Nexperia Germany GmbH, overseeing commercial processes, financial compliance, and controlling across multiple production sites and business units. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management of Technische Universität Hamburg, Germany and a Masters degree in Management of Production of Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden

Dirk Reimer - Interim CHRO

Dirk is Nexperia’s Interim CHRO, leading the global HR organization and supporting the company through an important phase of transition and stabilization. He joined Nexperia in March 2023, initially in an interim role supporting the HR teams in Germany and Hungary. During this period, he provided strong leadership, brought deep HR expertise, and played a key role in advancing people‑related initiatives. After guiding the local teams through a critical transition, he moved into the permanent role of Head of HR EMEA, where he strengthened regional coordination, enabled cross‑country leadership collaboration, and accelerated several strategic HR programs.

With more than two decades of experience in interim and executive HR roles, Dirk brings extensive expertise in Human Resources, Project Management, and Change Management.
