Open Letter from Nexperia B.V. to the leadership of Nexperia’s entities in China

Nexperia continues to seek a constructive collaboration with Nexperia’s entities in China and has been requesting an open dialogue to find a path forward to restoring the regular supply of goods. Nexperia B.V. has made repeated and multiple attempts, both formal and informal, to re-establish the dialogue with Nexperia’s entities in China by means of direct outreach via calls, emails and proposed meetings, various offers to collaborate on mutually beneficial solutions and even formal correspondence to demand performance of rights.

Regrettably, Nexperia did not receive any meaningful response. We urge you to respond to Nexperia's outreaches and engage constructively and with a view to restoring the supply chain, as this is in the interest of all parties involved, including notably our customers.

In light of this, we are compelled to communicate publicly to underscore the urgency.

Nexperia remains fully committed to transparency, business continuity, and the interests of its customers, suppliers, employees, and stakeholders worldwide. We welcomed the Chinese authorities’ commitment to facilitate the resumption of exports from Nexperia’s Chinese facility and that of our subcontractors, enabling the continued flow of our products to global markets. 

Nevertheless, customers across industries are still reporting imminent production stoppages.

This situation cannot persist. We therefore urge the leadership of Nexperia’s entities in China to take immediate steps toward structured negotiations to address:

Restoration of the Supply Chain
Restore predictable, established supply flows without delay, including production planning, delivery schedules, and transparent operational governance.

As a next step, we should address the alignment with Corporate Governance, so we can resume operations within the established governance framework, intercompany agreements and adhering to lawful instructions from Nexperia B.V.’s global management.

To avoid us having to communicate via public statements and via our customers, we re-emphasize our willingness to engage in direct dialogue with you via email or through a neutral, professional third-party mediator to ensure structured negotiations.
